Tough Club

The Tough Club, a social club with a 130-year history, once occupied this site in the Meatpacking District. With so many layers to its rich and colorful history, the challenge in bringing it back to life was to create something new while still giving a strong, respectful nod to the past.

Dutch East Design created signature cocktails, provided the training to execute them, consulted on bar equipment layout and selection, implemented a complete online and on-site branding package and created unique staff uniforms in collaboration with a fashion designer.
